I'm Rae, and I've spent the last decade falling in love with this island.
Vancouver Island has a way of holding you and you never want it to let you go. My husband, our dog Rue, and I have built a life here that's quiet, intentional, and deeply rooted in the rhythms of the West Coast.

I'm drawn to slow mornings, long hikes, rainy afternoons with a good book. I practice yoga. I drink too much tea. I like getting on my bike, swimming in cold water, and trying new things. That same sense of curiosity and presence is what I bring to photography.

I fell in love with photography at seventeen, starting with film and a deep pull toward documentary storytelling—something that still lives at the heart of my work today.
