What inspires my approach
Film photography has deeply shaped my style and storytelling approach. It’s the medium that sparked my passion for this art form and constantly inspires me. It feels like a warm hug, Christmas morning, or a deep sense of remembering. And I aim to capture this feeling for you during our time together. Soft, dreamy tones and subtle imperfections - because life isn't perfect, and I can bet that if you're drawn to my work, it's certainly not because it's perfect. I want to document your story in a way that feels true, honest, and real. When you look through your images, I want you to feel that sense of sweet remembering. Each photograph is not just a moment captured but a narrative woven with care, artistry, and nostalgia.

Here's what makes me, me.
I grew up knowing I'd create art some day. Whether that was by way of pencil, paint, or film. I was 17 when I was gifted my first camera and I spent my early years capturing the world around me, primarily on film. After graduating from the digital + film photography program at Langara College in Vancouver, I was inspired to take my passion around the globe. My twenties were a journey of solo travel, getting to explore places not many do. It opened up a world of self-discovery, adventure, and pushing my limits. I embraced new versions of myself, changed careers, and tried a lot of new things.
I'm a nature lover, whether that's taking a long walk, an overnight backpacking adventure, or simply just being in my garden - outdoors is where I feel most like myself. If you take me near any body of water, you can bet that I'm taking a dip (no matter the time of year). I'm passionate about yoga philosophy and deeply connected to my personal practices. I love writing, books, and art. I'm a Virgo sun, Scorpio moon, and a Reflector (which explains a lot). And I've come to learn that my sensitivity is my greatest power.
I now live in Parksville on beautiful Vancouver Island with my husband and our five-year-old pup, Rue. We live a sweet, simple life and love making new adventurous memories. I feel truly honoured that you’re here and I can’t wait to get to know you and your story!

I'm a believer in a lot of things.
And my philosophy will always show through my work and the time we spend together. I believe that courage and strength comes from your ability to be vulnerable, honest, and compassionate. And this is what is at the core of authentic storytelling imagery. I can't expect you to be vulnerable if I'm not. So we get there together. We break down our walls and create space for connection. And I fully believe in emanating warmth - and I trust you will feel that when you meet me.
